Crew coordinates AI agents across calendar, tasks, notes, research, notifications, connected services, and follow-through. You choose which integrations to connect and can revoke access through the app or the connected provider.
This Privacy Policy explains how Crew ("Crew," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile apps, AI agent workflows, integrations, and related services (the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
We may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, role, company, timezone, preferences, app settings, selected agents, notification settings, and support requests.
Content you provide
We collect content you submit to the Services, including messages, prompts, notes, summaries, tasks, reminders, calendar entries, meeting details, email drafts, uploaded files, uploaded images, voice recordings, transcripts, and instructions you provide to agents.
Connected app data
If you connect external services, we process data from those services only as needed to provide the features you request or enable.
- Gmail and email accounts: message metadata, message content, threads, labels, drafts, recipients, and send actions needed for inbox triage, drafting, replying, sending, and follow-up workflows.
- Calendars: event titles, times, locations, attendees, notes, reminders, availability, and scheduling context.
- Contacts: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and related details needed for communication, scheduling, and people context.
- Files and documents: file metadata and content needed to summarize, search, prepare, or reference materials you connect or upload.
Device and usage information
We may collect device identifiers, push notification tokens, operating system information, app version, crash data, diagnostics, feature usage, timestamps, logs, and similar information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Services.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, personalize, and improve Crew.
- Route requests to the right agents and coordinate agent work.
- Create and update tasks, notes, reminders, calendar events, and drafts.
- Process user-approved email, calendar, contact, file, and image workflows.
- Send push notifications, reminders, nudges, and requested updates.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, security issues, and service problems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Google User Data
Crew uses Google user data only to provide user-facing features that you request or enable. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Human access to Google user data is limited to situations where it is necessary to provide support, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with law, or when you explicitly ask us to review something. We may share Google user data with service providers only as needed to operate the Services and only under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
4. AI Processing
Crew may send portions of your prompts, messages, notes, files, images, transcripts, calendar context, contact context, email context, and agent memory to AI model providers and infrastructure providers to generate responses, extract tasks, draft content, classify requests, and coordinate agent work. We aim to send only the context needed for the requested workflow.
5. Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- Cloud hosting, database, storage, analytics, and notification providers.
- AI model providers that process prompts and context on our behalf.
- Email, calendar, contact, file, payment, and communication providers you connect or use.
- Professional advisors, legal authorities, or others when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
6. Your Choices and Controls
You can choose whether to connect integrations such as Gmail, contacts, calendars, and files. You can revoke permissions through Crew, your device settings, or the connected provider's account controls. You can disable push notifications through the app or your operating system.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support backups. Retention periods may vary by data type, account state, and feature.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and cloud security features. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International Users
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
